India most visionary SPACE LAB established by ESRO MAGICA

This is the great initiative in the field of Space  science and technology education to lead the nation in upcoming Space revolution.

ESRO MAGICA and Sahyadri Valley College of Engineering & Technology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a SPACE lab on the college campus. The MoU was signed by ESRO MAGICA CEO scientist Pravin Wakode and Kishor Bhai Patel, trustee of Sahyadri Valley College of Engineering & Technology.

The event witnessed the presence of Mr. V. R. Divakaran, the esteemed President of Sahyadri Valley College of Engineering and Technology. Accompanying him were Dr. K. R. Bhanushali, Shri. Sachin Chavan, Shri. Ganpat Korde, and Shri. P. Bala Ramadu, who were actively involved as members. The gathering also included the notable presence of Dr. Yuvraj Lambole, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of ESRO MAGICA, and Yogesh Unde, the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) of ESRO MAGICA. Additionally, a multitude of Engineering students and Professors graced the event with their participation.

The Space Lab provides students with an exceptional opportunity to delve into the realms of space technology, astronomy, rocketry, and related fields. Under the guidance of esteemed scientists and researchers at ESRO MAGICA, students actively participate in constructing and launching their own sounding rocket. This hands-on experience enables them to gain practical knowledge and skills in space technology.

Space Lab & Rocketry Internship program.

India is sending 3 astronauts into space in December 2023, NASA is going back to moon before 2027, this time they are going to build city on moon, according to Elon Musk SpaceX is ready to land human on mars before 2030, city on mars will take shape after that, to send 12 astronauts on moon in apollo program (1969-1975) 4,00,000 (4 Lac) people worked on ground. This time humanity is aiming to make human settlements on moon, mars and in outer space, so this time we need skillful human resource to develop city life outside the earth. As a developing nation, India is working on various space exploration projects, including a space station, manned mission to Mars, and a moon landing mission. In order to foster a generation of scholars in space education, we are offering a sounding rocket practical internship. This will provide an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the development of India’s space program.

Furthermore, the Space Lab has created avenues for rocketry internships and space exploration for college and school students across India, from various engineering and academic disciplines. While studying engineering or other subjects, students receive valuable support and mentorship from ESRO MAGICA. The Space Lab also guides  students for promising employment opportunities as they engage in their passions within this innovative environment.

Goals of Space Lab & Rocketry Internship program. Students learn about rocketry in university, but government regulations often prevent universities from providing the necessary facilities for testing and launching rockets. This can make it difficult for students to gain hands-on experience in the field. Our aim is to provide a platform for engineering students to conduct research, manufacture and launch rockets, in order to better master the subject of rocketry. With this project, we aim to cultivate the next generation of rocket scientists who will help build a strong, advanced society and contribute to the growth of humanity through advances in space science and technology. By providing the opportunity for students to design and launch sounding rockets, we hope to foster the skills and knowledge necessary for them to become leaders in the field of rocketry.

This collaboration represents a pioneering initiative in India, where a space lab has been established in partnership with a private company, initiated by an engineering college.

Pravin Wakode graced the stage during the program, captivating the students with his address. With great insight, he provided guidance on the impending space revolution, the future lunar city, India’s pivotal role in this transformative era, job prospects, and the significance of space education. Pravin Wakode emphasized the value of fostering curiosity, creativity, and a deep passion for space exploration among the students. He passionately expressed that the Space Lab would present them with an unparalleled opportunity to immerse themselves in hands-on experiences with rockets, enabling them to delve into the field on a practical level.

Moreover, Pravin underscored the imperative for India to assume a leading role in the space sector and emphasized the crucial role of educating the youth in this domain. He encouraged the students to embrace curiosity, unleash their creativity, and nurture an unwavering passion for space. Pravin Wakode enthusiastically proclaimed that the newly established lab would provide them with a distinctive chance to acquire practical expertise in rocketry, empowering them to become active participants in shaping the future of space exploration.

Mr. Yogesh Unde, CXO of ESRO MAGICA, addressed the students and showed them the pathway to becoming a part of the space lab. He explained the various steps that students need to take in order to be a part of the space lab and gain hands-on experience in rocketry. He emphasized the importance of hard work, dedication, and a passion for space in order to succeed in this field.

Dr. Yuvraj Lambole also addressed the students and encouraged them to take advantage of the new facility to gain knowledge and skills in space technology. He expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between ESRO MAGICA and Sahyadri Valley College of Engineering & Technology and said that it has the potential to make a significant contribution to the space sector in India.

Mr. Divakaran, the chairman of Sahyadri Valley College of Engineering & Technology, expressed his gratitude towards ESRO MAGICA for choosing their college for the collaboration and said that it will provide a great opportunity for the students to learn from the experts in the field of space. Principal Mr. P. Bala. Ramadu welcomed the audience, Professor Neelima Shirke gave vote of thanks and the program concluded.
